Ed Terry Honored at Parmer County Stock Show
Putting on the Parmer County Stock Show is a huge undertaking. As with any event, those who work behind the scenes are the one’s who put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Ed Terry has diligently worked behind the scenes helping with the stock show for more years than he can remember.
Over the years Ed volunteered for the Parmer County Stock show board, collected money for two buyer’s clubs, sold tickets for the steak dinner, helped cook steaks for the steak dinner, and helped cook the briskets for the buyer’s meal.
On Saturday, January 19, 2019, Ed officially resigned from his duties. Although the list of jobs is quite long, truth be told, this doesn’t even begin to show all that Ed has done to support our youth and our community through the stock show program. In honor of his many years of service, Ed was awarded a Parmer County Show Service Award plaque contributed by the Parmer County Cattleman’s, Parmer County Feed Yards, and the Good Shepherds buyers’ clubs. Many thanks to Ed for his commitment and dedication.
