Trunk or Treat set for October 31
Little goblins and ghouls (and their parents) are invited the Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, October 31 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Euclid Street between the Friona Primary and Elementary Schools. This event is hosted by the Friona Chamber of Commerce, the Parmer County Sheriff’s Office and the Friona Police Department.
Groups and individuals are invited to park their cars at the curb on either side of the street and open their trunks to give candy and other goodies away.
The organizers encourage participants to decorate your cars and be entered into a Decorative Trunk Contest to win 1st and 2nd place prizes sponsored by the Friona Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber will also be sponsoring a Costume Contest with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for boys and girls.
“This is a great and safe community effort for our children,” stated Trunk or Treat Coordinator Ross Paiz.
