City Council to consider unauthorized signs
The Friona city council will meet in regular session Monday December 14 at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers, 619 Main St. All council meetings are open to the public.
The tentative agenda seems to be brief and speedy. The agenda is subject to change and the official agenda will be posted at city hall 72 hours prior to the meeting.
After the invocation, pledge of allegiance, and approving prior minutes, the Friona police department will give their monthly report. Action will be taken on accounts payable and the financial statement for November. The mayor will be authorized to sign an interlocal agreement for sealcoating between the cities of Hart and Friona.
Confirmation of an estoppel certificate and agreement for Mariah Del Norte LLC wind energy.
City employees Pam Mercado and Rosa Mendez will address the council regarding their duties and responsibilities. The final item on the tentative agenda and the one that may generate the longest discussion will be to consider and discuss unauthorized posters, signs, etc. on the public right-of-way.
