Kevin N. Patton

Long time Friona resident Kevin N. Patton passed away Thursday January 16, 2020 in Amarillo. He was born November 4, 1952 in Hereford Texas to William B Patton and Helen Danforth Patton. Kevin was a graduate of Hereford High School in 1971. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army where he served in Germany until 1978. Kevin married Verna Warren in Amarillo on October 9, 1987. Together they started Friona Heating and Air Conditioning in February 1996 and enjoyed their life in Friona.

Kevin is survived by his wife Verna Patton of Friona, son Hayden Patton of Lubbock, son Aaron Sorensen of Kansas City KS, and daughter Jessica Kapka and her spouse James Kapka of Weatherford TX and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
