The Freshman class is hosting a Pancake Supper on Friday, January 31st at the High School Cafeteria. Tickets are $8 ($10 at the door) and can be purchased from any FHS freshman. Take-out is available with basic meal. Funds raised from this event will be used in the future for the Junior/Senior prom.

Local elections will be held this year on Saturday, May 2, 2020. The filing period for candidates to sign up is Wednesday, January 15th through Friday, February 14th. Terms expiring on the Friona ISD Board of Trustees, the Friona City Council, and the Parmer County Hospital District board.

SAVE THE DATE: The Annual Chamber Awards Banquet is set for March 10th. The theme for this year’s banquet Fiesta Friona. The annual banquet funds all Chamber events throughout the year such as the cheeseburger Festival, Miss Friona Scholarship and Pageant, and Christmas in the Park. More info next week.
