This year’s Pink Out Game for Breast Cancer Awareness, sponsored by the Parmer County Cancer Coalition, will be on Friday, October 18th when the Chieftains host the Spearman Lynx. Shirt forms with payment may be sent to Parmer County Cancer Coalition, 906 Euclid, Friona, TX 79035. Ordering is also available at the Chamber office and on Facebook. The deadline to order “pink out” shirts is Friday, September 20, 2019.

The 5th Annual National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, October 1st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Parmer County Law Enforcement Center at 300 4th Street in Farwell. Support our local first responders and enjoy free food.

The “Register Tapes for Education” program has concluded for the year. This program allowed Friona Elementary to receive free education equipment and supplies when Lowe’s Marketplace customers saved their receipts and sent them to the school. Do not send any store receipts to the school. Lowe’s Marketplace thanks you for supporting the program and looks forward to providing the program again in the future.
