FHS Senior Banquet will be on March 25, 2019 at the Friona Para Cristo Llamados a Conocerle on 1007 w. 11th starting at 6 p.m. This year will be the first time that Aurelio and Cynthia Silva will host the Senior Banquet!

Steer Tags for 2019 are due to your Ag Agent or FFA teacher no later than April 15, 2019. The price per tags is $17.00 each. If you are new to our county or your child will be in the Third grade, they can show animals for 4-H or FFA.

On March 13, 2019, strong winds across portions of Texas and New Mexico served by Xcel Energy interrupted service to almost 157,000 area electricity customers. They were working more than 3,500 outage events in the Texas Panhandle, Texas South Plains and eastern New Mexico regions. They also called in contract crews to help work the outages. We would like to thank the Xcel team for their hard work on a windy weather!
