Friona PD seizes 5 pounds of meth in drug bust
On Saturday, March 9, 2019, the Friona Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant with the help of the Parmer County Sheriff’s Office, Bovina Police Department, and the Dimmitt Police Department’s K-9 unit.
The warrant was executed at 905 Main Street in Friona, Texas and named 32-year-old Freddy Reyes to be in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine. Reyes was located inside the residence and detained for service of the warrant.
During the investigation, officers located and seized 5 pounds of methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. Reyes was charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1, over 400 grams, a first-degree felony.
The search warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation conducted by the Friona Police Department.
