My experience with the Ronald McDonald House was amazing. Everyone at Ronald McDonald was so caring and helpful to my husband and I when we were in a very heart breaking situation. My daughter was born when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant, in Clovis, New Mexico and within 30 minutes of being born I knew something was wrong, and I was right. The Doctor told us that our baby would have to be sent by helicopter to UMC in Lubbock, Texas because her lungs were not yet fully developed. They told us UMC had the best Pediatrics care for babies in the area.

City Council creates Building Standards Commission
The Friona City Council met in regular session on Monday, November 12th at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 619 Main in Friona, Texas. The meeting began with a roll call, an invocation, and the Pledge of Allegiance.

County Commissioners hear from highway officials
The Parmer County Commissioners Court met in special session on Tuesday, November 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the County Courtroom of the Parmer County Courthouse in Farwell, Texas. The meeting began with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag.
