An early reminder of Christmas in the park.On December 1,2018 Santa will be at the park at 3:00pm- 5pm. Then it will be followed by the light parade at dusk. Vendors set up around 2:30. Adopt a tree with decorating complete by December 1st. The decorations must be secured to withstand the wind. Trees can be decorated in the middle of November.

The FHS Band Booster brisket dinner will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 11:30am – 1:30pm at the Friona Jr. High Cafeteria. The menu includes brisket, BBQ sauce, beans, potato salad, a hot roll, and dessert. Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased from a band booster parent or at the door. Take out will be available as well as delivery inside the city limits during the time of the meal. To request delivery, please call Jeri Lynn White at 806-265-7737. The money raised is used to support the band with senior recognition gifts, celebrating the band during contest week, and helping with the spring band trip. Your support is greatly appreciated.
