Town Talk

Last week we ran a picture of a hummingbird taken by Dr. Gary Cash. I ran into him and Mrs. Cash at the Blood Drive on Thursday and asked how they attracted such beautiful hummingbirds. Mrs. Cash said they plant flowers that are trumpet like. She added that hummingbirds also like the big Mexican orange sunflowers. Doc gets some amazing shots every time he points his camera at anything. Keep up the good work Doc!

Freedom is not merely the opportunity to do as one pleases; neither is it merely the opportunity to choose between set alternatives. Freedom is, first of all, the chance to formulate the available choices, to argue over them -- and then, the opportunity to choose. ~C. Wright Mills
