FISD announces early voting dates
Friona Independent School District will hold an election for two School Board Trustee seats on May 6. Those running for the two seats are Corbin Riethmayer, Maria Monreal Garcia, Wade Schueler and Jamie Lewellen.
Early voting will be conducted April 24-28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 1-2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the FISD Administration Office at 909 East 11th.
The May 6 School Board election will be held at the Friona Chamber of Commerce office at 619 Main Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Applications for ballot by mail may be mailed or emailed to: Patricia Phipps, 621 N. Main Street, Friona, Texas 79035 or cityhall@frionatx.us. Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
