The Parmer County Junior Livestock Show Board honored JeDon Gallman Thursday, March 9 at a dinner meeting at Vet Industries. Gallman had devoted 38 years to the Parmer County Junior Livestock Show. He was dedicated to the organization and the kids who were showing animals in the local and county shows. He retired in January from the board. Also pictured are Mack Heald, left, and Greg O’Brian. Heald also retired at the board meeting on Thursday after 43 years in Parmer County. |

Hernandez, Trejo advance to state
The FHS Powerlifters traveled to Sundown last weekend to compete in the Regional Meet and came away big winners. The team scored second place overall with Mario Hernandez and Luis Trejo being named Regional Champions in their weight classes and will advance to State competition.
