Andrew Lopez

Andrew Lopez, 21, of Friona, died Monday, January 5, 2015 in Friona. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday January 8, 2014 at College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview with Rev. Oscar Chavez, officiating. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Blackwell Mullins-Funeral Home of Friona.

Andrew was born in Plainview, Texas to Freddie Rosalas and Vicki Lopez. Andrew married Ashley Trevino. He was a grain elevator operator. He loved his children, music, fast cars, the Texas Longhorns and Houston Texans, and was a great cook. He loved to help others and always encouraged others.

He is preceded in death by a grandfather, Freddie Rosalas Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley Lopez of Friona; one daughter, Aeriana Lopez of Friona; one son, Andrew Lopez Jr. of Friona; his parents, Freddie Rosalas of Pecos, Texas and Vicki Lopez of Plainview; five brothers, Alfred Alcala, Pablo Alcala and John Eric Alcala, all of Plainview, Ricky Rosalas and Gordo Rosalas both of Pecos; one sister, Katrina Rosalas of Pecos; and grandparents, Baldamar and Janie Lopez of Plainview and Norma Rosalas of Hobbs, New Mexico.
