Tough as nails and a heart of gold. That would be Mary Stone who is retiring after 29 years with Friona ISD. Mary is one of the nicest people I know. It has been my privilege to know and work with Mary for many years at various school activities. She has served as chief custodian, bus driver, ticket taker, and a motivator for school staff and students. All the best to Mary and Wayne. Enjoy your retirement years.
