Little Miss and Miss Friona pageants to combine
The Friona Chamber of Commerce is calling all girls that are interested in taking part in the upcoming Little Miss Friona and Miss Friona pageant, which will be held Friday, September 26 at 6 p.m. at the Friona High School Auditorium. In the past, the pageants were held separately but this year they will be combined into one big pageant.
Tickets will be $10 for adults and $8 for students and will be available at the Chamber office and at the door the night of the pageant.
Little Miss Friona contestants must be 5 years of age by September 1, 2014 and no older than 6 years of age by September 1, 2014. Little Miss forms are available at the Chamber office and must be returned by September 19.
Miss Friona contestants must be sophomores, juniors or seniors. Miss Friona forms will be available at the Chamber office or online Monday, August 11. Forms must be returned by September 10.
The Miss Friona photo shoot will be held Sunday, September 14 at “The Country Rose.”
The talent portion of the Miss Friona pageant rehearsal is set for Sunday, September 21 at 2 p.m. at the Friona High School Auditorium
Rehearsal for both the Little Miss and Miss Friona pageants is set for Thursday, September 25 at 4 p.m. at the FHS Auditorium.
Sponsorship for the Little Miss candidates will cost $75 for Chamber members and $100 for non-members. For Miss Friona candidates the cost of sponsorship is $100 for members and $125 for non-members.
Chris Alexander, Friona Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice-President stated, “The Chamber will help the girls find sponsors if they need one.”
