New cemetery book available
The Cemeteries of Parmer County - Volume 2 is printed and ready for purchase. The book is printed on heavy paper in a nice three-ring binder. The cost is $45.
Gladys Spring, president of the Parmer County Historical Commission, said a previous cemetery book was issued in about 1974. This new volume contains photos, brief histories of cemeteries in the county, alphabetical listing of all persons interred in the cemeteries through December 31, 2013, with dates and stone inscriptions, plus a list of all known veterans in the county, living and deceased.
