The annual Summer Drama Workshop will be held July 7 - 19 with shows presented on Friday July 18 and Saturday July 19.
Elementary kids, age 5 to completed 5th grade, will rehearse from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the high school auditorium. Director is Allison Johnston.
Junior high thespians, completed 6th to completed 8th grade, will rehearse from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Director is Joy Morton.
The high school thespians, completed 9th to completed 12th grade, will rehearse from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Director is Deirdre Long.
The productions have not yet been selected. Donations are being accepted. Because of donations from the community the $25 cost of the workshop has not been increased in over 20 years. Allison Johnston said, “Please help us keep this tradition going by helping us.” Donations may be made to Friona Fine Arts Council and mailed to Allison at 801 W. 5th St., Friona 79035.
