The Friona Vocational Agriculture Association will hold its 2nd Annual Aaron Tate BBQ Bash on Saturday June 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at American Canvas located at 1106 W. Hwy 60. Funds raised from the event will go to support Friona youth ag programs and is held in memory of Aaron Osborn.

Cooking teams will prepare brisket and ribs during the day and special recognition will be awarded to the judge’s favorites. Along with the BBQ, there will be beans, potato salad, cole slaw, white bread, dessert, and iced tea. There will dining and dancing and entertainment will provided by The Will Banister and Modern Day Ramblers Band.

Special thanks to Cargill Meat Solutions for providing the meat, Roddy and Sandra Berend for their support and planning, and Mark and Deirdre Osborn for allowing everyone to remember Aaron in this special way.
