Author and former Friona resident, Joe Benavides, will be in Friona on Friday, May 10th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Friona Public Library to sign his new book, “El Fracaso Antes Del Éxito: ¡todo Es Mejor, Trabajando En Equipo! (Failure Before Success: Everything Is Better, Working as a Team!)”
Joe Benavides is a man who, despite not having a professional title, learned to be someone different and decided to spend time dragging the pencil to get his goal. He never gave up because he did not have a certificate.
The fact of being born in poverty and with a bare education made him look at life in a different way, and he began to change his life when a friend introduced him to the business world.
It was there that his dream began to become a reality and he began to write his first book, “A Dream Without A Dream.”
Joe’s goal is to continue writing and teach the world that having no education does not limit you to being someone big in life.
