The High School gym is open for use in the summer. The gym is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. in the mornings and 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the afternoon for the month of June. Coaches encourage athletes to stay active during summer break.

Summer Drama is coming up quickly! Make plans to attend the 49th year of Summer Drama Workshop beginning July 9 and running until July 21. It costs $50 for the entire 2 weeks. Elementary students rehearse from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Junior High students rehearse from 1:30 – 4:30 pm. High School students rehearse from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. All rehearsals take place in the Friona High School Auditorium. Don’t miss these two weeks of magic. It will change your life for the better!

Summer EOC testing begins on Monday, July 25. The schedule is as follows: Monday, June 25, at 8:00 am – English 1; Tuesday, June 26, at 8:00 am – Biology and US History; Wednesday, June 27, at 8:00 am – English 2; Thursday, June 28, at 8:00 am – Algebra 1. Students need to report to the high school by 7:50 am on the date that you are testing. Students testing received a letter in the mail with tutorial information and testing information last week. Please refer to that letter for testing dates and rooms.
