PMC bids farewell to Lynette Jubay
Parmer Medical Center is sad to announce that Lynette Jubay, PA-C is leaving PMC to pursue a new chapter in her personal and professional life.
“We have been so proud to have her as one of our providers for the past three years,” stated Gayla Quillen, Parmer Medical Center Administrator. “She has been a tremendous asset to our healthcare team and to our Parmer family.”
Lynette grew up in Friona and graduated from Friona High School. She graduated college and received her certification for Physician Assistant. Lynette has been working in the clinic and covers the Emergency Department along with the other providers.
Lynette is married to Eddie Smith. They have one child, Jaxson – the light of their world. She moved here from Lubbock and says that she likes Friona because “it feels like coming home.”
But now, she, Eddie and Jaxson are starting the next chapter in their journey. They are moving to Florida to be closer to Lynette’s sister Sherrie and her family.
“While we wish the very best for Lynette and her family, we will miss her greatly,” said Quillen. “Thank you, Lynette for being a part of Parmer and Friona again for a short while. It was a wonderful ride while it lasted.”
Parmer Medical Center will be hosting a public Farewell Reception for Lynette in the hospital lobby on Thursday, June 15 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate the wonderful years Lynette was part of the Parmer family.
