Friona Blood Drive to celebrate Dairy Month
The community of Friona and Coffee Memorial Blood Center will celebrate Dairy Month in a big way on Thursday, June 22 at Calvary Baptist Church from noon to 7 p.m. Every eligible donor who is present to donate will receive a Dairy Month themed t-shirt, a pint of milk, a cup of ice cream and a squeeze cow. Donors’ names will be put in a drawing for a year supply of milk.
Dairy Max and the Friona Noon Lions will be providing cheeseburgers to the donors. A radio-remote will be aired from the drive to promote the drive.
Donors can use Donor Express to register online to make the process quicker. Just follow these instructions:
1) Visit thegiftoflife.org, then click on the Donor EXPRESS link at the top of the page.
2) Answer the health history questions confidentially.
3) Print the bar-coded page that contains hidden responses.
4) Bring that page to the blood drive that same day.
Save a life, give blood.
