Gary Moore Amusements Carnival rolled into town on Wednesday and was set up for business just in time for Israel Santiago, 7, and his brother Giovani, 5, to catch a ride on the roller coaster that evening. The carnival is located in the parking lot of the Community Center. They will be in town until Saturday night. Head on out to enjoy the fun and food at the carnival.

Friona has recorded over 4" of rain in June added to the 7+" from May. Now summer is here and the days are hot and humid.

Fourth of July plans shaping up
The Friona Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture began with a small kernel of an idea to celebrate Independence Day 2015 and now it has began to grow and blossom into a celebration.
