FHS Area track qualifiers
At the district track meet in Dimmitt, the boys finished 3rd and the girls finished 4th. Several individuals qualified for the area round.
Jacob Osborn, Abayomi Salinas, and Kailey Lucas qualified in shot put and discus. Armando Flores qualified in the 1600m and 3200m runs.
In the 4x100m relay Jose Zamudio, Chris Alvarez, Justin Rocha, Eddy Garcia. In the 4x200m relay, Zamudio, Rocha, Adrian Munoz, Abel Palacios. In the 4x400m relay, Aran Ramirez, Zamudio, Munoz, and Palacios.
Eddy Garcia also qualified in the 100m dash and Abel Palacios in the 400m dash.
For the girls, Kendall Kimbrough qualified in the high jump. In the 4x100m relay Taylor Stallings, Natassia Luna, Airam Chavez, Arianna Moreno. In the 4x200m relay Stallings, Christina Green, Chavez, and Moreno. In the 4x400m relay Alexis Alvarado, Green, Chavez, and Moreno.
Arianna Moreno also qualified in the long jump and triple jump.
The area track meet will be held Friday April 18 in Panhandle.
