Jesus “Jessie” Baldomero Blanco, 65, died Monday, February 18, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Panhandle, Texas. Burial followed at Panhandle Cemetery. Rosary was held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Arrangements by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, Texas.
Jessie was born October 11, 1947 in Benavides, Texas to Otila and Gonzolo Blanco, Sr. He worked alongside his son at Blanco Construction. Jessie is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy Blanco; brothers Armando Blanco and Eddie Blanco; and a sister, Martha Maltos.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Blanco; children Carlos Blanco, Jimmie Mitchell and husband Wesley, Johanna Preas and husband Troy; brothers, Joe Blanco and wife Ann, Gonzalo Blanco, Jr.; sisters Teresa Solis, Elma Castillo, Irma Trevino, Gloria Trevino; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
