Promotions at Friona Interbank
Friona Interbank has announced the recent promotions of two employees, Cherlyn Pruitt and Amelia Taylor.
Cherlyn Pruitt has been promoted to Banking Officer with responsibilities in the New Accounts Department. Cherlyn began working at the bank in August of 1980 in the bookkeeping department.
In January 1989 she was promoted to head bookkeeper with another promotion to the teller line by November the same year. In January 2007 Cherlyn was promoted to head teller, a position she has successfully performed for almost seven years.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School. After graduation she moved to Bovina, Texas and began working at Friona State Bank, now Friona Interbank. She is married to Printes Pruitt and they have two daughters, Sherelle and Shantelle. Shantelle is married to Justin Bridges and they have one son, Kaidan.
Amelia Taylor has been promoted and will assume the position of Head Teller. She joined the bank in July 2008 as a teller after working 29 years for the Texas Driver License Division.
Amelia graduated from Friona High School and attended West Texas State University. She is married to Jim Taylor, also a FHS graduate who is co-owner of 4-Way Pump Service and Fire Chief for the Friona Volunteer Fire Department. They have two daughters, Amy Rambo of Amarillo and Amanda Raines of Wichita Falls, Texas. The Taylor family enjoys fishing and camping.
