Shrek: high school musical
This year the Friona High School thespians will present “Shrek, the musical” as the fall musical. It is being directed by Deirdre Long, Joy Morton, and Allison Johnston.
The performance dates for the public are Saturday November 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday November 3 at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 adults and $3 for students.
Allison Johnston said there are 44 students involved in the musical not including the art students who are painting the backdrop under the direction of the new art teacher, Linda Sargent. Mrs. Johnston said, “The script is hilarious and the kids are doing a remarkable job. It will be a wonderful show that no one will want to miss.”
