Johnnie Jones Jr.

Johnnie Jones Jr., 85, of Friona, died August 28, 2016 in Friona. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday September 2, 2016 at Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home in Friona with friends and staff of Prairie Acres Nursing Home, officiating. Arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.
Mr. Jones was born April 6, 1931 in Marshall, Texas. For over 20 years, Johnnie worked for the beef processing plant in Friona. Later, he farmed and served many families with landscaping and lawn care.
He is survived by the staff of Prairie Acres Nursing Home, friend Alberta Shephard of Friona, and friend Dorothy Wilson of Pueblo, Colorado.
