Chamber accepting nominations
The Friona Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is now accepting nominations for the 2016 Friona Chamber of Commerce Citizen Awards. Those awards are Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Most Courteous Employee, Girl and Boy Students of the Year.
The deadline for submitting nominations is 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016. Awards will be given at the Annual Chamber Banquet, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Friona Community Center. A silent auction will begin at 6 p.m.
