Leonard Jaramillo Sr., 70 of Farwell passed away January 1, 2025 at his residence in Farwell. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Leonard was born in Pueblo, Colorado to Jose S. and Celina Gallegos Jaramillo. Leonard was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, also a USDA-FSIS Food Inspector. He loved history and had a huge range of historical knowledge. He loved fishing and was an avid sports fan, especially his favorite teams the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.
He is preceded in death by his parents-Jose and Celina, his wife- Maribel Jaramillo and a sister-Jackie Williams.
Those to mourn his passings include his children-Olivia Jaramillo of Albuquerque, Leonard Jaramillo Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Sonia Flores of Bryan, Texas, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Printes H. Pruitt, 89 of Friona passed away December 31, 2024 at his residence. Viewing was held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with family visitation beginning at 6:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Celebration of Life Services was held 2:00 PM Saturday January 4, 2025 at the Sixth St. Church of Christ in Friona with Jeff Procter, minister officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Printes was born June 19, 1935, in Clarksville, Tx. to Johnny and Susie Covington Pruitt. Printes worked in a plywood mill and later retired as a longtime farmer in Parmer County.
He was known as tiny, but with a big personality. He was always willing to help others. He loved farming, hunting, caring for his livestock, and visiting with friends and family. Printes was ornery and loved to joke around with people.
Those preceding him in death include his parents- Johnny and Susie Pruitt, son- Johnny Pruitt, 5 siblings- Arthur Pruitt, Dorothy Wells, Willard Pruitt, Margie Robinett, and Billy Pruitt.
Those to cherish his memories include: his wife Cherlyn Pruitt of Friona, son- Steve Pruitt and wife Beth of Little Elm, Tx., 2 daughters- Shantelle Bridges and Marco Terrones of Amarillo, and Sherelle Pruitt of Friona, sisters- Mildred Magdalene Skinner of Corvalis, OR., Gladys Marie (Sally) Morris of Beaver, OK., mother-in-law-Ima Jean Stone of Austin, sister-in-lawe-Becky Marshall of Austin, and brother-in-law Randy Stone of Excelsior Springs, MO., grandchildren- Lindsey Mosely, Misty Palmer, Kaiden Bridges, Mariano Terrones, Maliyah Terrones, Urijah Terrones, Christina Sustiati, Brandon Bahe, Hailyie Taylor, Cody Hebert, and 12 great-grandchildren.
