Ann Nichols

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Nichols, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Ann departed this world on July 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.

Born on December 2, 1943, Ann was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beacon of light, radiating warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Ann had an innate ability to make others feel valued and loved, and her genuine interest in people created lasting connections.

Ann's devotion to her family was unparalleled. She was a loving daughter to her parents, a caring sister to her siblings, and a source of unwavering support for her children and grandchildren. Her home was a haven of love, laughter, and cherished moments. Ann's nurturing spirit and selflessness will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to call her family.

Throughout her life, Ann faced challenges with grace and resilience. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, demonstrating the power of determination and the strength to overcome any obstacle. Ann's unwavering spirit and positive outlook on life served as a guiding light for those around her.

In addition to her devotion to family, Ann was a pillar of support and compassion within her community. In honor of Ann's life, a memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Nazarene Family Church, 1410 La Plata St, Hereford, Texas. We invite all who knew her to join us in celebrating her remarkable journey and bidding farewell to a truly extraordinary individual.

May Ann's soul find eternal peace, and may her legacy continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Ann.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Cecil and Helen Balentine, and the love of her life, her husband Billy Nichols.

Survivors include her children, Greg Nichols and wife Melanie of Amarillo, Texas, daughter Michelle Sauviac and her husband Jason of Lewisville, Texas; her brother Louis Balentine and wife Anne of Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren Shawna Nichols, Jennifer Sutton, Kelton Day and Brendon Day; eight great-grandchildren, Caden Day, Miles Day, Lainey Day, Ava Day, Braedon Nichols, Cayden Nichols, Adriana Nichols and Caitlyn Nichols.
