Presiliano Carmona Perez, 67 of Bovina passed away June 8, 2024 in Bovina. Viewing will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina beginning at 8:00AM with a Rosary Service at 6:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, June 13, 2024 also at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina with Father Avitus Siriwa as Celebrant. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Presiliano was born January 4, 1957 in Villa, Insurgentes, Zacatecas, Mexico to Gabino Carmona Barretero and Cruz Perez Carmona. Later, he married Petra Perez, 1977 in Mexico. He was a very hard worker, working on the farms in Mexico, then 25 years at Cargill Meat Solutions in Friona. But, according to his family, his best job was a father. Presiliano was a very strong, but loving person that loved life with a calm, but stubborn nature. He loved his family, music, rodeos, and raising his animals.
He is preceded in death by his parents-Gabino, and Cruz, and by 1 grandchild-Belen Granados.
Those to mourn his passing include his wife Petra Carmona of Bovina, 2 sons-Ramiro Carmona of Bovina, and Luciano Carmona and wife Adriana Salas of Rogers, Arkansas, 2 daughters-Cristina Carmona and husband Jose Juan Rueda of Bovina, and Angelica Carmona and husband Rafael Granados of Amarillo, 2 sisters-Fabiana Salas of Ft. Worth, and Micaela Gaucin of Monett, MO., 8 brothers-Maximiliano Carmona, Roberto Carmona, Victor Carmona, Catarino Carmona, Margarito Carmona, and Pablo Carmona, all of Ft. Worth, Jose Nieves Carmona of Villa, Insurgentes, Zacatecas, Mexico, and Gabino Carmona of Purdy, MO., and 6 grandchildren.
