Danny Ray Waggoner, age 67, of Midland, Texas, entered his Heavenly home on Monday, August 7, 2023, celebrating this day on his daughter's birthday. Danny was born on October 31, 1955, in Muleshoe, Texas to Charles and Shirley Waggoner. He married his 8th grade sweetheart, Tena Day Waggoner, on August 9, 1974. Danny was a man of integrity and perseverance which led him to always stand up for the underdog, a successful 38 years as an Instrument Technician at Oneok, Inc, loving his family with devoted passion, and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Danny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Tena Waggoner of Midland, Texas; daughter and Best Buddy Megan Pasco and her husband Josh, of Midland, Texas; son-in-law Shawn Everett of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; the apples of his eye, grandchildren Tripp Pasco, Jett Pasco, Ella Everett and Quinn Everett; brother Eddie Waggoner of Muleshoe, Texas; sister Cammie Turnbow and her husband Rodney of Lubbock, Texas; brother Randy Waggoner and his wife Patti of Muleshoe, Texas; sister-in-law Myra Oden and her husband Tim of Moriarty, New Mexico; sister-in-law Dian Gerber and her husband Gary of Canyon, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Danny is preceded in death by daughter Kayla Everett, father Charles Waggoner, mother Shirley Waggoner, father-in-law Herbert Day, mother-in-law Gladys Day, grandparents Lloyd Waggoner and Alpha Waggoner, and Ralph Black and Naomi Black.
A reverse service was performed on Saturday, August 12th, beginning with the Burial Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. at Serenity Memorial Gardens, Midland, and followed by a Celebration of Danny's Life at 11:00 a.m. at Renew Life Church, 409 S Pecos St, Midland, Texas. The family was joined for lunch after the Celebration at the Renew Life Church offices located across the street.
