Esther Nevarez Andujo, 86 of Bovina, died April 27, 2024 in Lubbock, Viewing was held from 9:00 AM to 8:00PM Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. At 6:00 PM on Tuesday, there was a Celebration of Life Service in the chapel with Pastor Santos Cuevas, officiating. Cremation to follow by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Esther was born December 29, 1937 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Fermin Nevarez and Emilia Andujo. She loved her time spent in activities at the Iglesias Bautista Comunidad de Fe Cristiana in Farwell and doing absolutely anything outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her parents-Fermin, and Emilia, 2 sons-Arturo, and Aumberto, and 4 siblings.
Those to mourn her passing include 4 daughters-Silvia Luna, Maria Concepcion, and Maria Isabel Luna, all of Bovina, and Norma Perches of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 1 son-Jorge Alberto Luna of Aurora, Colorado, 1 sister-Guadalupe Navarez of Chihuahua, Mexico, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.

Dorris Anne Burch, 73 of Friona passed away April 27 in Friona. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11AM Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Brett Hoyle, officiating. Arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Anne was born May 26, 1950, in Crowell, TX to Joe Gilliam and Wanda Norvell and was raised in Lubbock and Austin, TX.
Anne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She resided in Friona, TX with her husband Coy Burch and family since 1974. She was affectionately known to the community as the little lady that worked at Tasty Cream. She was a true animal lover and rescued and took care of many pets over the years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards and games, visiting with family, taking care of her grandkids and great grandkids as well as watching old, classic movies and tv series. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her mother-Wanda Norvell, father-Joe Frank Gillam, step-father-Dan Norvell, 1 brother-Larry Joe Gilliam, nephew-Jeremy Stacey, niece-Jessica Bierner
She is survived by her husband-Coy Burch, children: daughter- Gayla Bucksath and husband Shawn Bucksath; son- Eric Rutherford; daughter- Oleta Yount and husband Terry Yount; and daughter- Stephanie Burch, grandchildren: Jaime Underwood and husband Tyler Underwood; Tyler Bucksath; Cassidy Gilliam; and Chelsea Ward and husband Zac Ward, great grandchildren: Tryce, Aubree, and Gage Underwood; Auje Bucksath and Zayd Ward, sister- Linda Langley and husband Steve Langley, along with many nieces and nephews.

Jim Roy Daniel, 85, of Amarillo Tx passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024. There will be no public viewing, but you may sign the register book on Friday May 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00PM with a family visitation from 6:00 PM to 7:00PM in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday May 4, 2024 at the Lazbuddie Church of Christ with Clay Mimms and Bret McCasland, officiating, Burial following in the Lazbuddie Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Jim was born on February 1, 1939 in Clovis NM to Roy P. and Della Mae Daniel. He was raised in the Lazbuddie community and graduated from Lazbuddie High School in 1955. He went to Oklahoma State University and received an Animal Husbandry degree. Jim married Paula Sue Moore on August 14, 1964 in Hereford. Jim and Paula raised their children William Todd and Amy Denise and farmed in Lazbuddie for 48 years before Paula passed away in 2013. He continued farming for a total of 60 years before retiring. He served on the school board and was a member of the Lazbuddie Church of Christ.They enjoyed family gatherings and traveling during the farming down time. Jim married Raye Jene London on October 13, 2020 in Happy. They enjoyed spending time together, making many trips to Hawaii and Branson. They also spent lots of time visiting and enjoying family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Roy P. and Della Mae Daniel, wife Paula Daniel (d. 2013) and sister Paula McBroom.
He is survived by his wife Raye Jene Daniel, son Todd and Donna Daniel, daughter Amy Marshall, sister Joy and Reece Wilterding, sister-in-law Dolores Moore, grandchildren, Alexus, (Preston) Marshall-Jeffries Ashley, Terrance Marshall and B.T. Daniel, 4 great grandsons, Zepheniah, Kyran, Jermiah, and Jayvin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
