On January 4, 2021, the world lost a kind, strong and gentle soul when Frances "Frannie" Martin Laymance left this earth. Frannie was a woman who never understood her own strength even as she survived the deaths of two babies at birth and a 15-year old daughter to Cystic Fibrosis. Frannie devoted her life to her family; she adored her husband Baxter and joined him in much mischief and many adventures throughout their 52 years of marriage. She was the fierce protector of her daughters, Lori and Stacy and she saw all that shined bright in her grandsons, Ryan and Robert. Her loyalty to those she loved knew no bounds and her ability to see the goodness in others left those whose lives she touched better able to see their own goodness. Frannie's cheerful, generous spirt left us all better for having known her and she will live on in our hearts and memories. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Joe Nalley; her grandsons, Robert and Ryan Nalley; Ryan's wife, Jackie Aiello; and her sister LaNell Kendrick. Please join us as we celebrate her life on Saturday, October 8 at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist Church located at 1818 4th Avenue in Canyon, Texas.
