The Lieutenant will still work for FPD on a part-time basis.
In a related matter, the Council approved the purchase, not to exceed $35,000, of a repeater system from Omega Electronics. The electronic device will be attached to the City's tower just north of the Community Center. The terms of Mayor Ricky White, Alderman Greg Lewellen, and Alderman Brent Loflin will expire. The election is scheduled for May 2, 2022. Also, there is the possibility of a joint election with the school district and hospital district.
